Join us at LedgeStone Vineyards for our first grape harvest. The season is shifting and we are grape stompin'. We've put together this event for all ages to enjoy. The summer has been a wonderful whirl wind of meeting you all and tending to the vineyard - it's time to celebrate. Come by the vineyard for live music throughout the day, food trucks and of course - grape crushing activities.
Event Timeframe: 11:00am - 4:00pm (ish)
Food: We welcome a great food truck to roll up for the day and will have corn roasting and s'mores toasting over the fire.
Music: 12 & 2 pm. Mike & Molly begin at 12:00pm. The duo plays the keys and guitar and together create a harmony that is amazing. The second act begins at 2:15pm - 4:15pm and plays a jazzy, blues show sure to get us moving.
Kid Activities: 11:00am - 3:00pm Family comes first. We love welcoming the entire crew out to the vineyard. We will have Cooper Farm's petting zoo at the vineyard and will have a light weight archery bow for targets (25lbs), s'mores, face painting and more!
Pumpkin Carving Contest: Starts at Noon (not firm). LedgeStone will supply pumpkins for the carving contest! Entries must be finished by 1:30pm for the public voting from 1:30pm - 2:00pm. Winners will be announced with first place earning a prize (no patterns/stencils please).
Wine: LedgeStone will feature some fantastic wines by the glass and by the bottle. Note we will not be doing a formal tasting this day. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Please, no BYO.
Grape Stomp: 2:00pm. Throughout the day your activities will earn you tickets to be entered into the drawing for the grape stomp (buy a drink, get a ticket - hit a target at archery, earn a ticket, take part in the pumpkin carving contest.. well, you get the idea). 3 names will be pulled to see who can stomp the most! After, stomping will be available for those who wish to squish and stamp on a shirt 🙂
Farmers: A few local farmers will be on site selling their lovely produce - support local 🙂
